The United States implements a voluntary recall of Chinese-made children’s pajamas
On June 29, 2016, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Saro Trading Company jointly announced a voluntary recall of Chinese-made children’s pajamas.
The recalled products are 5 children’s pajamas produced by Saro Trading. The 100% white cotton pajamas have “Taleen” printed on the neck tag. The above-mentioned pajamas have styles such as hollow trim decoration on the neckline, ribbon decoration on the chest or button decoration in the middle of the front.
The recalled products were sold in Francie Hargrove Interior Designs, Georges Girls Luxe Sleep and Nichols retail stores and online stores at http://www.sarostore.com and http://fennco.com/en in the United States from February 2012 to April 2016. About 7,800 pieces were sold, priced at $25 each. The reason for the recall is that the pajamas do not meet the requirements of the US flammability standards for children’s pajamas, posing a burn hazard to children. So far, no reports of accidents or injuries have been received.
To this end, the U.S. Consumer Product Commission recommends that consumers should immediately keep children away from the recalled products and contact the company for guidance on obtaining a full refund. The United States implements a voluntary recall of Chinese-made children’s pajamas
