Pakistan cotton yarn prices may fall further
As domestic and international cotton prices fall, the price of cotton yarn in Pakistan continues to fall. Coupled with the continued weakness in cotton yarn sales, it is expected that the price of cotton yarn in Pakistan may further decline in the next few days.
It is understood that the current sales situation of high-count combed yarn 40S, 60S and 80S in Pakistan’s Faisalbad yarn market is good. The export market as a whole is shrinking. After cotton prices fell, sales in the international market eased.
At present, the price of polyester fiber in Pakistan has increased and is consistent with the Chinese market. The unit price of 1.4D polyester staple fiber increased by 2 rupees to 117 rupees/kg (US$1.13/kg). The spot price of Kachira in Pakistan is 6550 rupees/Mund.
