Bangladesh needs technological innovation to achieve its garment export goals
According to a report by Bangladesh’s “Independent” on September 11, Haydayetullah Al Mamun, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce of Bangladesh, and executives of a number of garment manufacturing companies stated at a garment export forum organized by a local think tank that in order to ensure that Bangladesh To achieve the target of garment exports, the Bangladeshi government and garment export companies need to further increase investment in the technology field and maintain the competitiveness of Bangladesh’s garment exports through technological innovation rather than purely relying on low labor prices.
