News: Exports of textiles and clothing are approximately US$1 billion
According to customs statistics, my country’s exports of textiles and clothing in September 2016 were approximately US$22.764 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 15.41% and a month-on-month decrease of 18.50%. Among them, exports of textile yarns, fabrics and products were US$7.720 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 20.46%, and a month-on-month decrease of 24.66%; exports of clothing and clothing accessories were US$15.045 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 12.56%, and a month-on-month decrease of 14.94%.
In the first three quarters of 2016, my country’s total exports of textiles and apparel amounted to US$201.101 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 4.87%. Among them, textile exports were US$79.534 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 2.87%; clothing exports were US$121.567 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 6.13%.
