Among them, the export volume of cotton yarn was 10.6 million kilograms, a year-on-year increase of 30.46%, the export value was US$57.9882 million, an increase of 16.75%, and the average unit price dropped by 10.51%; the export volume of chemical fiber yarn was 240 million kilograms, an increase of 19.20%, and the export value was US$511 million. An increase of 2.93%, the average unit price decreased by 13.65%; the export volume of wool yarn increased by 9.52%, the average unit price increased by 13.54%, driving the export volume to increase by 24.35% year-on-year. 2. The export volume of chemical fiber cloth has grown rapidly

From January to August, China exported 2.032 billion meters of fabrics to the EU, a year-on-year increase of 13.67%, and the export value was US$2.711 billion, a year-on-year increase of 5.07%. Among them, the export volume of cotton cloth was 277 million meters, a year-on-year increase of 29.37%, and the export value was US$308 million, a year-on-year increase of 2.08%; the export of chemical fiber cloth was 1.183 billion meters, a year-on-year increase of 14.29%, and the export value was US$1.360 billion, a year-on-year increase of 8.32%; silk The export of woven fabrics was 15.17 million meters, a year-on-year decrease of 4.60%, the export value was US$99.4423 million, a year-on-year decrease of 8.29%, and the average unit price decreased by 3.87% year-on-year; the export of other fabrics was 554 million meters, a year-on-year increase of 6.56%, and the export value was US$926 million, a year-on-year increase. 3.32%.

3. Export unit prices of manufactured goods fell sharply

From January to August, China exported US$4.7 billion of manufactured products to the EU, a year-on-year decrease of 3.82%, and the average export unit price dropped by 18.49% year-on-year. 4. Export volume of woven garments maintains growth

From January to August, China’s apparel exports to the EU were US$25.742 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 7.04%. Among them, knitted garment exports were 2.848 billion pieces (sets), a slight decrease of 1.10% year-on-year. The export volume was US$10.057 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 8.10%. The average price was US$3.53/piece (set), a year-on-year decrease of 7.08%. The export of woven garments was 2.059 billion pieces (sets), a year-on-year increase of 4.27%. The export volume was US$12.257 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 7.48%. The average price was US$5.95/piece (set), a year-on-year decrease of 11.27%, which directly dragged down the overall performance of clothing exports.

5. Guangdong’s exports to the EU dropped significantly

Looking at the provinces exporting to the EU, there has been no change in the top six provinces and cities exporting to the EU, namely Zhejiang, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Fujian, Shanghai and Shandong.
