India launches anti-dumping investigation into Chinese polyester staple fiber
On February 2, 2017, the Anti-Dumping Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued Announcement No. 14/49/2016-DGAD stating that in response to Alok Industry Ltd., Indo Rama Synthetics (India) Ltd. and The Bombay Dyeing & Mfg. Co. Ltd., decided to launch an anti-dumping investigation into 0.6-6 denier non-dyed polyester staple fiber imported from China, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. The dumping investigation period in this case is from April 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016, and the damage investigation period is from April 2012 to March 2013, April 2013 to April 2014, and April 2014 to 2015. March, April 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016 (dumping investigation period). This case involves products under Indian Customs Code 55032000. Stakeholders should submit paper and electronic questionnaire answers and comments to the Anti-Dumping Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India within 40 days from the date of this announcement.
