News: Imported cotton yarn is about 10,000 tons
According to customs statistics, in February 2017, my country imported approximately 173,500 tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year increase of 49.61%, and a slight decrease of 0.47% month-on-month; the country exported approximately 21,700 tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year increase of 15.49%, and a month-on-month decrease of 23.04%.
From January to February 2017, my country imported a total of 347,800 tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year increase of 25.34%; the country exported a total of 50,000 tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year increase of 10.51%.
In 2016/17, as of February 2017, my country had imported a total of 1.023 million tons of cotton yarn, a slight increase of 0.76% year-on-year; and exported a total of 164,200 tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year increase of 15.43%.
