Bazhong City successfully completed the 2022 spring tussah seed inspection work

Recently, the Sericulture Management Station of Bazhong City, Sichuan Province fully completed the inspection of particulate disease on tussah silkworm breeds in Bazhong City in the spring of 2022.

In accordance with the requirements of the “Sichuan Provincial Sericulture Management Regulations” and the Provincial Sericulture Management Station’s “Notice on Doing a Good Job in Silkworm Seed Inspection and Quarantine in 2022” and “Notice on Printing and Distributing Key Points of Sericulture Industry Work in 2022”, actively invite the provinceSilkScience Research Institute assisted and supported the inspection of Tongjiang County Tussah Seed Farm, the only provincial-level tussah germplasm resource conservation farm in the province. This inspection was carried out in strict accordance with the inspection procedures and technical regulations. A total of 5,100 female tussah moths were inspected (the virus-carrying rate of the mother species was 0, and the virus-carrying rate of the original species was 0.6‰). The detection rate of particulate disease reached 100%. Thequality safety of Bazhong tussah silkworm species is ensured.
