The Sanjiang Silkworm Full Industry Chain Demonstration Base in Nalou Town, Yongning District is operated by Nanning Qixing Sericulture Cooperative. Through the introduction of technology, the base has formed a relatively mature ecological demonstration base for the entire industrial chain of mulberry tree planting, original silkworm breeding, small silkworm co-breeding, large silkworm breeding, silkworm cocoon spinning, silk quilt and silkworm excrement processing. In 2021, the base’s cocoon output will reach 18,000 kilograms, with an output value of 800,000 yuan.

It has a square meter spinning, cotton boiling and drying workshop and a 1,200 cubic meter cold storage. It also introduces advanced silkworm excrement processing technology to turn the silkworm excrement into organic fertilizer and increase the added value of the silkworm industry.
It is reported that Yongning District has promoted the sericulture industry to gradually embark on a healthy development path of regional layout, specialized production and industrialized management by optimizing and adjusting the industrial layout, and vigorously supported the construction of a batch of raw materials with high yield and high cocoon quality. In 2021, the mulberry planting area in Yongning District reached 55,600 acres, and the output value of mulberry planting and silkworm raising reached 330 million yuan, benefiting about 15,500 farmers.
