On April 12, the 7th Member Conference of the China Home Textile Industry Association and the 1st Council of the 7th Council were held at the office of the China Textile Industry Federation in Beijing. At the meeting, Wang Yi, vice president of the China Home Textile Industry Association, was entrusted by the sixth council to make a report on the work of the council. During the sixth session of the Council, the China Home Textiles Industry Association has carried out solid research work, led the quality standards and regulations, achieved remarkable results in market expansion, and demonstrated the charm of home textile fashion and international Exchanges have been deepened, the ability to serve members has been strengthened, and party building work has been carried out in a down-to-earth manner. The specific work report is as follows:

Part One: Research Work

During the sixth session of the Council, the association carried out in-depth and solid research work. It conducts regular research and visits to industrial clusters and key enterprises every year to grasp industry trends and developments in real time. Trends, release industry operation reports, guide the healthy development of the industry, truly implement service companies, and raise the quality and efficiency of research work to a new level.

The association focuses on daily statistics and industrial research and analysis work, focuses on building and playing the role of an industry statistical platform, regularly completes and submits industry operation analysis reports, and provides support for the transformation and upgrading of the home textile industry, high-quality development and other aspects have provided strong support.

Especially in early 2020, affected by the impact of the epidemic, the national home textile industry and enterprises are facing unprecedented difficulties and challenges. The association immediately took action, carrying out 3 bottom-up surveys and forming 4 special survey reports, putting forward targeted suggestions and countermeasures, providing useful reference for the competent authorities to introduce support and relief policies, and assisting the “Sixth The implementation of “Stability” and “Six Guarantees” has played a positive role in promoting the industry’s effective resumption of work and production.

2. The association established a research team for the subdivided industries, conducted research and calculations from the production side and consumer demand side, built an industry data model, conducted quantitative analysis, and completed reports on bedding, fabrics, towels and other industries to fill in the gaps. to address the gaps in industry research.

The “Outline of the “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan” for the Home Textile Industry” compiled by the association points out the direction for the development of the industry. In 2020, the “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan” for the Home Textile Industry will be launched. The Five “Outline of Development Plan” proposes the development direction, goals and key tasks of the industry in the new era, and draws a blueprint for the second century-old goal of the home textile industry.

At the same time, the association has also opened up a new situation in the preparation of regional industrial planning, completing high-quality development plans for regional industries or clusters such as “Nantong”, “Dieshiqiao”, and “Haining Xucun”. At present, the “Xinjiang Yining County Textile Industry Development Plan” is also being studied and compiled.

Part Two: Quality Standard Work

The association attaches great importance to the quality work of the home textile industry, insists that enterprises are the main body of quality improvement, and jointly promotes the high-quality development of the industry from the three dimensions of standard system, equipment improvement, and brand development.

1. The high-quality development of the industry cannot be separated from the promotion of standards. Since 2016, the National Home Textile Standardization Technical Committee has organized and completed the formulation and revision of 75 national and industry standards. In particular, the national standard “Home Textiles Classification” established by the association has solved the contradiction between the rapid development of the industry and the relative lack of a product classification system, and is of great significance to the development of the industry.

The China Textile Group Standardization Committee, established in 2017, serves as a powerful complement to national standards and industry standards. In the past four years, it has completed the formulation and release of 21 group standards. Especially during the epidemic, the association took hotel home textiles and functional products as a breakthrough and formulated six group standards on an emergency basis, which received positive feedback and unanimous praise from enterprises.

2. During the sixth session of the Council, the pace of integration of industrialization and industrialization in the home textile industry accelerated. The association, together with the China Textile Machinery Association and the ChinaSewing Machinery Association, jointly initiated the establishment of the “Home TextileIntelligent Manufacturing Innovation Alliance”. Six home textile companies were rated as “Intelligent Manufacturing Demonstration Enterprises”. At the same time, key companies in the home textile industry have successively established CNC system command centers and built integrated solutions for smart factories. The companies are gradually moving from “automation” to “digitization”.

3. Since 2017, the association has taken the lead in the textile industry to respond to the “Guiding Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Carrying out Quality Improvement Actions” and has organized and convened five consecutive China Home Textile Industry Quality Conferences. At the same time, it has actively promoted the “Chief Quality Officer” ” and “quality cooperative” models have been implemented in the industry.

4. During the sixth session of the Board of Directors, the association vigorously promoted brand building in the home textile industry from three levels: regional brand, terminal brand, and manufacturing brand, forming a brand that uses awards to promote excellence, awards to promote construction, and awards to promote development. Building atmosphere. In the past six years, the home textile industry has added 6 new listed companies on the main board. Every year, clusters, regions, enterprises and enterprise products continue to gain recognition.The first office in China – “Nantong Dieshiqiao Representative Office of the International Textile Federation Home Textile Manufacturers Committee” was officially unveiled.

Since the national “One Belt, One Road” initiative was proposed, the association has also entered Asia, ASEAN, Eastern Europe, Africa and the Americas in “four steps”, and actively and steadily carried out Global layout, industry inspection teams have visited 15 countries along the “Belt and Road”.

Part Six: Member Service Work

During the sixth session of the Board of Directors, the association continued to consolidate the foundation of service management, improve rules and regulations and talent echelon construction, improve the association’s business sections, and improve its ability to serve members. In particular, the information department of the association has integrated with the editorial department of the journal “Home Textile Times” to establish a Chinese home textile integrated media structure of two micro accounts, two accounts, one website and one magazine, which has enhanced the association’s activities and industry publicity and reporting capabilities, and established a The status of the authoritative official information release platform in the home textile industry.

The association combines the board of directors and the annual home textile conference into one, and all major matters of the association are reviewed by the board of directors. At the same time, the association organizes a vice-president working meeting every year, which effectively plays the role of the leading enterprise in the industry and increases the enthusiasm of the vice-president to participate in the work of the association.

The special committee under the association also organizes professional annual meetings and various activities every year. According to the development needs of the industry, the association also established a carpet professional committee in 2018.

Part Seven: Party Building Work

The association always puts political construction first and regards party building as the source of motivation to lead the work of the Home Textile Association. The association currently has 15 party members, accounting for 51.7% of the 29 employees. At the same time, the association has established an independent party branch, and the members of the branch are all members of the leadership team of the association. All work of the branch is carried out in accordance with standardized standards and is constantly innovated. Under the guidance of party building, the 29 staff members of the association secretariat have continuously improved their business capabilities, industry service capabilities, and talent echelon construction, forming a united, enterprising, harmonious and progressive team.
