Zhejiang: “Invest in Zhejiang” global investment promotion year starts
Recently, the launch ceremony of Zhejiang Province’s “Invest in Zhejiang” global investment year was held in Hangzhou. Yesterday, our province’s first investment promotion group in the New Year went to Hong Kong to attract investment. It is expected that more than 200 groups from our province will go overseas to carry out investment promotion activities this year.
“Currently, our province is facing a period of important strategic opportunities in the use of foreign investment.” The relevant person in charge of the Provincial Department of Commerce said that currently, the central government has clearly required greater efforts to attract and use foreign investment. At the same time, this year the province will further implement the “8+4+1” policy system and formulate a new round of stronger, more pragmatic and effective policy measures to stabilize foreign investment.
Next, Zhejiang will organize various regions to actively carry out overseas investment promotion, visit key overseas enterprises, and hold investment promotion activities. For example, Hangzhou will launch the “Global Investment Season” activity in the first quarter and organize no less than 30 overseas investment groups.
“The optimization and adjustment of epidemic measures is an important opportunity for us. Changxing County will speed up the construction of foreign investment project agglomeration platforms such as the Sino-German Industrial Park and the US East Industrial Village through overseas investment promotion and intermediary investment promotion.” Changxing County Commerce Bureau Director Zhu Yiyuan said.
Shi Qiqi, deputy director of the Provincial Department of Commerce, introduced that the “Invest in Zhejiang” global investment promotion year will have the overall goal of “creating a highquality foreign investment gathering place”. At the same time as high-end foreign-invested industries and major foreign-invested projects, we will vigorously attract a number of high-quality producer service industry projects to promote a more optimized industrial structure. In addition, this year, various localities will be encouraged to carry out various investment promotion models such as fund investment, intermediary investment, specialized company investment, and platform investment.
