The COVID-19 epidemic has returned to the cold several times, geopolitics has had a profound impact, the world economy continues to be sluggish, and in a stormy external environment, various risks and challenges have far exceeded expectations. This year has been extremely unusual and indeed difficult.

The excitement is more surging and magnificent. The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China was successfully held, drawing a grand blueprint for comprehensively promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation through Chinese-style modernization. Ushering in the rising trend in the mighty east wind, this year is extremely extraordinary and should be remembered.

In such a special year, we keep pace with the times, take a long-term view, work hard, and grow with resilience with strength and determination; we advance with the industry, stay involved, work side by side, and forge ahead in innovation and creation. Your efforts will not be disappointed, and your efforts are always worth it. Our industry work has achieved steady progress and improved quality. After experiencing the danger of fording the beach, the difficulty of climbing the mountain, and the difficulty of crossing the barrier, we survived the difficult moments and ushered in a new situation.

1. Overcome difficulties and achieve good results in industry work in 2022

The strong wind knows the strong grass, and the fierce fire knows the true gold. Since 2022, faced with the complex situation of a century of changes and a century’s epidemic superimposed on each other, we have insisted on preventing the epidemic, stabilizing the economy, and ensuring safe development, resolutely implemented the country’s major decisions and arrangements on stabilizing the economic market, and strived to promote the industry’s realization Steady development. The industry service work of China Textile Federation has withstood major tests. All units have taken active actions, tried their best to relieve difficulties, taken multiple measures to innovate services, and achieved hard-won achievements.

(1) Taking party building as the guide, improving institutional construction, and making the association more united and powerful

The China Textile Federation insists on consciously and comprehensively strengthening ideological and political construction, and from the perspective of “two safeguards”, the study of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era is a required course for all party members and cadres. Consolidate the results of party history study and education, and continue to study and publicize the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Party. Fully implement the “mass entrepreneurship and innovation” activities of party building, and various grassroots party organizations have carried out various themed party day activities based on actual conditions. After the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China was held, the party committee led all grassroots party organizations to widely publicize the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China through different forms of work such as organizing studies, holding activities, and media publicity. A report meeting on studying and implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China was held to promote industry understanding and actions to focus on the various tasks set by the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

Cooperating with the inspection team of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission Party Committee to complete the inspection work is an important task this year. China Textile Federation and its member units actively cooperated with the inspection work. Focusing on the problems discovered during the inspection, the China Textile Federation Party Committee carefully studied the problem list, responsibility list, and task list, formulated and improved the rectification ledger, and determined the rectification measures and responsible persons. An inspection and rectification work meeting was held to make detailed arrangements for the implementation of the rectification work, so as to conduct research, discussion, decision-making, deployment, implementation and feedback on inspection feedback issues to ensure that the rectification work is completed on time and with high quality. Through inspections to strengthen party building, inspections to improve work style, and inspections to promote business, China Textile Federation has further improved various systems, effectively strengthened the construction of leadership groups and grassroots party organizations, and effectively strengthened the ability to reform and develop the service industry. During the inspection, we successfully convened the fifth member congress and the first council of the fifth session of the China Textile Federation, successfully completed the re-election work, built on the past and opened a new page for the association’s work.

(2) Be effective-oriented, deepen research work, and continuously improve service levels

Continuously improve industry data statistics. Continue to do a good job in industrial operation and situation analysis, timely track market conditions and the impact of the epidemic, pay attention to policy release and implementation, and provide data support for the decision-making of relevant national departments. While doing a good job in routine operation analysis, we also added analysis of key indicators under the new situation. Completed the data collection and regular business tracking and analysis of key industrial clusters and key textile enterprises, strengthening the standardization and data security of data use.

Continuously deepen industry research work. China Textile Federation and its member units regard research as an important starting point for carrying out industry services. At the critical moment of fighting against the COVID-19 epidemic, the Ministry of Industry, cotton spinning, printing and dyeing, clothing, home textile associations, information centers and other units conducted research on key enterprises, clusters and professional markets through multiple online and offline channels to understand production and operation conditions and provide timely feedback on industry demands. , strive for industrial policy support to help enterprises overcome phased difficulties and ensure the steady development of the industry.

Continuously promote industry research work.
