Pakistan reduces tariffs on raw materials for the textile machinery industry
According to a report by Pakistan’s “National” on June 17, a senior official of Pakistan’s Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) stated that the government’s budget for the 2019/20 fiscal year includes medicines, food, Tax relief is provided on various daily necessities including beverages. At the same time, the government also encourages local industrial development and promotes national exports, and has exempted and exempted tariffs on more than 1,650 raw materials to support local industries, including printing and papermaking, wood and furniture, LED panel manufacturing, food industry, textile machinery, household appliances and other industries.
