Turkey launches first anti-dumping review investigation into Chinese polyester synthetic filament yarn

On August 4, 2019, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2019/23, in response to the application of Turkish domestic manufacturers, on polyester originating in China, India, and Malaysia. Synthetic filament yarn (Turkish: Di?erleri,poliesterlerden) initiated the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation: to examine if the current anti-dumping duties are cancelled, whether the imports of the involved products will be dumped in Turkey and whether the dumping will cause damage to Turkey’s domestic industry. will continue or occur again. On April 26, 2013, Turkey launched an anti-dumping investigation into polyester synthetic filament yarn originating in China, India, and Malaysia. On October 16, 2014, Turkey made a final anti-dumping ruling on the case. On July 12, 2017, Turkey made a final anti-dumping review on the products involved in the three countries mentioned above, and raised the anti-dumping duties on the products involved in China to US$0.25/kg and US$0.30/kg.
