H&M plans to launch clothing rental business
According to a report in the Swedish magazine “Business Weekly” on August 20, Swedish clothing giant H&M plans to launch a clothing rental business. H&M members can rent exclusive collections of clothing at the Segerplatz flagship store in Stockholm. The store plans to reopen in late fall 2019 and will also open a sewing studio where customers can mend or customize clothing. H&M said that launching clothing rental and sewing business is an important step towards a “sustainable and circular fashion future”.
