Decline in demand from China affects Pakistan’s cotton yarn export prices to rise
In the past week, the prices of cotton and cotton yarn in Pakistan have been stable. Domestic and export sales of cotton yarn have been sluggish. 30-count carded yarn has remained stable for several consecutive weeks after falling in the early stage. Later, with the domestic Demand returns and prices are likely to start rising. The export price of cotton yarn is difficult to rise due to the decline in demand from China.
At present, the price of cotton in Pakistan has begun to rise. The reason is that cotton mills have begun to purchase new cotton after it is launched, and demand has increased. The prices of polyester-cotton yarn and polyester-viscose yarn have not changed due to stable raw material prices. The price of polyester staple fiber has stopped falling. Affected by the strengthening of the RMB exchange rate, the price of imported Chinese polyester staple fiber has increased slightly. The price of viscose yarn has declined with the decline in viscose fiber prices at home and abroad. The price of viscose staple fiber has remained stable, and the drop in import prices has no impact.
