RIA Novosti reported on May 15 that Yefimov, deputy mayor of Moscow, Russia, recently stated that the Moscow city government acquired Russia’s largest medical mask manufacturer “Innovative Technologies Co., Ltd. ”, the company’s mask output accounts for about 1/3 of Russia’s total. Yefimov said that the procurement work was launched in March this year. At that time, the Moscow city government expected that there would be a huge demand for medical masks in the future and that there might be a shortage of masks in the market. The former co-owner of Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. said that the company’s mask production capacity has doubled since January and has now produced nearly one million masks per day.
