On April 28, the 3rd China (Zhejiang) Ethnic Costume Design Exhibition was held in Eshan Ethnic Village, Tonglu County, Zhejiang Province. The event, co-sponsored by the Zhejiang Provincial Ethnic and Religious Affairs Commission and the Zhejiang Provincial Garment Industry Association, aims to encourage all sectors of society’s clothing design forces to inject continuous vitality into the development of China’s ethnic costumes. Since the event was launched in January this year, a total of 693 submissions have been received from teachers and students of colleges and universities, professional clothing designers, and ethnic costume craftsmen from more than 10 provinces including Zhejiang, Guangdong, Jiangxi, Jiangsu, Heilongjiang, Qinghai, and Guizhou.
