Haining Printing and Dyeing Industry Association holds solid waste standardized management training

On May 4, Zhejiang Jiaxing Haining Printing and Dyeing Industry Association held a signing ceremony for the Solid Waste Standardized Management Initiative and a solid waste standardized management training. At the meeting, the relevant person in charge of Haining Branch of Jiaxing Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau interpreted the new Solid Waste Law and conducted training on standardized management of solid waste. Printing and dyeing enterprises are required to improve their ideological awareness, standardize the disposal of solid waste, and do a good job in the “Five Ones”: that is, implement a standardized warehouse, identify a manager, and make good use of a set of information system, establish a set of standardized ledgers, and formulate an emergency plan.

Zhang Zhenhao, secretary-general of the Haining Printing and Dyeing Industry Association, read out the “Proposal on Further Strengthening the Management of Hazardous and Solid Wastes in Haining Printing and Dyeing Enterprises”, advocating that the city’s printing and dyeing enterprises should focus on responsibility systems, management organizations, risk investigation, storage facilities, and standardized disposal. We will strengthen solid waste management in six aspects, including taking practical actions to protect our “lucid waters and green mountains.” The heads of 44 member companies signed the proposal.
