“Science and technology promotes inspection” helps Zhejiang Huzhou cocoon and silk industry improve quality and efficiency
The China CocoonSilk Trading Market is the largest transaction, price, information and logistics center in the country’s cocoon and silk industry. Up to now, a total of 5,067 batches of raw silk have been notarized and inspected, and 14,400 tons of dried cocoon have been notarized and inspected, covering Guangxi, Jiangsu and Yunnan. There are nearly 90 cocoon and silk companies in 10 provinces and autonomous regions, and their inspection volume accounts for about 70% of the country’s cocoon and silk inspection volume, involving a total transaction volume of more than 1.5 billion yuan.
Wang Xiaodong, director of the Huzhou Quality Inspection Institute, said that since 2020, the institute has given full play to its role as the main force and main channel in cocoon silk inspection and testing, and has completed a total of 4,809 tons of notarized inspection of dried cocoons, with a completion rate of 100.2%, and notarized inspection of raw silk. 1223 batches, completion rate 102.8%. At the same time, we strictly implemented the responsibilities for supervision and inspection, and completed 55 batches of raw silk supervision and inspection, and 120 batches of dry cocoon inspection throughout the year. The compliance rate of the cocoon and silk inspection results reached 100%. “The Quality Inspection Institute strengthens internal quality control, and the laboratory sets up posts as needed, and allocates them reasonably according to inspection tasks to ensure the timeliness of cocoon silk inspection. At the same time, regular exchanges and comparisons of raw silk inspection technology within the laboratory are carried out to strengthen the internal quality of the laboratory Control.” Wang Xiaodong said, “We also regularly hold inspection skills training, and actively organize relevant personnel to participate in technical exchanges and comparison activities to learn from each other’s strengths and enhance their skills.” It is understood that the Huzhou Quality Inspection Institute based on the actual inspection situation and enterprise feedback , on the basis of analysis, judgment, communication and exchange, we cooperate with China Jiliang University, Zhejiang Science and Technology University and other scientific research institutions to carry out technical research and adhere to the “science and technology-based inspection”. In 2020, the Huzhou Municipal Quality Inspection Institute applied for 3 scientific research projects at the municipal level and above, 5 scientific research projects at the municipal level and above are under study, and accepted 1 project, “Energy Saving and Emission ReductionEnergy Saving and Emission ReductionNew Silk Making Technology and Industrial Application” project won the first prize of ChinaTextile Industry Federation Science and Technology Award.
