Turkey launches first review of safeguard measures against imported nylon yarn
On January 26, 2022, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2022/1, which initiated the first sunset review of safeguard measures for imported nylon yarn in response to the application of Turkish domestic manufacturers. Open an investigation. The products involved include drawn textured yarn, fully drawn yarn, partially oriented polyester yarn and other yarns made of nylon (or other polyamide), involving Turkish tax numbers 5402.31, 5402.32.00.00.00, 5402.45, 5402.51, Products under 5402.61.

On December 30, 2018, Turkey imposed restrictions on imports Nylon (or other polyamide) yarn initiates safeguard measure investigation. According to the Turkish Presidential Decree, Turkey officially implemented safeguard measures on imported nylon yarn on October 21, 2019.
