Iran’s textile and clothing industry exports increased by %
“Tehran Times” reported on June 13 that Mehrabi, an official from Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, said that the country’s 1400th year in the Iranian calendar (March 21, 2021 to 2022 March 20, 2018) The export volume of the textile and clothing industry increased by 8% compared with the previous year, the export volume increased by 6%, and the output value increased by 12%. The textile industry is within the scope of the “sanctions” imposed by the United States on Iran, and foreign investment has withdrawn significantly. Iran is actively developing related industries and achieving self-reliance. At present, Iran can supply 98% of the cotton yarn needed for the development of the country’s textile industry.
