In August 2022, exports of textile and clothing reached US$4.002 billion, a month-on-month increase of 8.67%, and a year-on-year increase of 50.76%; yarn exports were 124,600 tons, a month-on-month increase of 13.13%, a year-on-year decrease of 20.29% ; Imported yarn was 89,500 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 1.90%, a year-on-year increase of 26.66%; imported fabrics were US$1.204 billion, a month-on-month increase of 5.04%, a year-on-year increase of 19.74%.
From January to August 2022, Vietnam’s textile and apparel exports reached US$26.276 billion, a year-on-year increase of 28.85%; exported yarn was 1.0894 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 14.83%; imported yarn 732,800 tons of threads, a year-on-year increase of 0.95%; imported fabrics were US$10.298 billion, a year-on-year increase of 11.80%.
