Yuexi County, Anhui Province held a meeting to promote the sericulture industry chain
On May 20, Member of the Standing Committee of the Yuexi County Committee of Anhui Province, Minister of United Front Work, and Changjiang Feng of the Sericulture Industry Chain hosted the Yuexi County Sericulture Industry Chain Work Promotion Meeting. Responsible comrades from the County Science and Technology Bureau, Economic and Information Bureau, Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, Culture, Tourism and Sports Bureau, Market Supervision Bureau, State-owned Assets Office, Wanyue Investment Group and other member units attended the meeting.
The meeting listened to the report on the preliminary work progress of the sericulture industry chain working group office and the cooperative operation of the cocoonsilk consortium from Wanyue Investment Group. Participants discussed Issues such as company registration, administrative licensing, fund raising, and exhibition venues that companies in each link of the industrial chain need to solve were discussed one by one, and solutions were clarified.
Jiang Feng pointed out that sericulture is one of the important specialty industries in Yuexi County. The scale of sericulture production has ranked first in the province for 12 consecutive years and is the largest base county in the central region. The development of industrial clusters has begun to take shape. Through everyone’s joint efforts in the early stage, various tasks in the sericulture industry chain were rapidly advanced and the results were obvious.
Jiang Feng emphasized that first, all member units of the industrial chain should focus on the “14th Five-Year Plan” and 2021 target tasks of the sericulture industry chain, clarify the specific task completion time limits and responsible persons, and actively plan and accelerate progress. All units should take the initiative to connect and help solve problems discovered during the advancement of industrial chain work. Second, state-owned capital must actively support the development of leading enterprises in all aspects of the industrial chain and vigorously promote cocoon and silk consortium cooperation on the premise of risk prevention and control and value preservation and appreciation. The third is to actively connect with the Yangtze River Delta’s superior cocoon and silk deep processing resources, do a good job in “double recruitment, double attraction” and brand promotion, so as to develop the secondary and tertiary industries and push back the improvement of the primary industry, and achieve high-level sericulture industry through industrial integrationQualitydevelopment.
