The United States implements a recall of Chinese children’s pajamas
On April 20, 2023, the US CPSC announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s pajamas.
The recalled product is NewCosplay brand children’s button-down long-sleeved one-piece pajamas from TaizhouJiawang Trading Co., Ltd. The product is made of 100% polyester, sold in sizes 4T to 10 years old, and features “Charmander” and “Pikachu” character graphics. Fiber content and washing instructions are marked on the side seam tags. Sewn-on neck label displays product size and reads “NEWCOSPLAY”.
The product does not meet federal flammability standards for children’s pajamas and may cause burns to children.
The recalled products were sold in the United States from November 2021 to April 2022, with approximately 868 units sold and priced at approximately US$30.
So far, no accidents or casualties have been reported.
CPSC recommends that you should stop using this product immediately and contact TaizhouJiawang Trading Co., Ltd. for a full refund.
