From January to April, China’s industrial textiles industry entered a period of adjustment

Looking at different fields, from January to April, the operating income and total profits of enterprises above designated size in ropes, ropes and cables increased by 29.8% and 70.8% year-on-year respectively; the operating income and total profits of enterprises above designated size in textile belts and cord fabrics increased year-on-year Increases of 28.5% and 262.8% respectively.
In terms of international trade, judging from the main export products, non-woven fabrics, special yarns, threads, ropes, ropes, cables and other products were exported from January to April. The value of products was US$2.79 billion, a year-on-year increase of 54.8%, of which exported nonwovens were US$1.66 billion, a year-on-year increase of 68.1%, and the export volume increased by 51.9% year-on-year.
The China Industrial Textiles Industry Association stated that as the prices of nonwovens and anti-epidemic materials returned to pre-epidemic levels, profits in these fields from January to April 2021 fell significantly compared to last year’s high point. The production, sales and export of nonwoven fabrics still maintain a high growth rate, and the market demand for nonwoven fabrics and their products remains unabated. From January to April, the recovery trend of non-epidemic materials in the industrial textile industry was obvious, and it is expected that this trend will continue throughout 2021.
