In August 2019, Zhong Guifa officially settled in Chaonan Textile Printing and Dyeing Center with a dyeing and chemical material automation system imported from Italy. “The application of automated control systems can accurately control the dosage of water, dyes, and auxiliaries, which can not only improve product quality, but also greatly reduce pollutant emissions.” Wei Huaiyong, deputy general manager of Longfeng Printing and Dyeing Operations, told reporters.

“After entering the park, the cost of sewage treatment has indeed increased, but the park carries out unified sewage treatment, and companies no longer need to build their own sewage treatment plants. In the past, we had our own sewage treatment The factory covers an area of more than ten acres, which greatly saves land.” Zhong Guifa said, “Through the intelligent transformation, the company has reduced its employment by nearly a hundred people, but its production capacity has been greatly improved. And , the enterprises in the park have worked together to give the market a new understanding of Chaonan printing and dyeing brands. This year, some large enterprises have specially visited the park to inspect and promote new cooperation.”

Up to now, 127 companies have settled in the printing and dyeing center, 102 of which have been put into operation. Taking the opportunity of entering the park to guide enterprises to transform and upgrade through equipment upgrades and process improvements, they achieved “two reductions and two improvements” after production was put into operation. That is, water consumption is reduced by 40%, electricity consumption is reduced by more than 20%, production efficiency is increased by 25%, and production capacity is more than doubled.

“In 2020, Lianjiang achieved a major turning point from widespread black odor to the elimination of sections inferior to Category V in the national examination, and then upgraded to Category IV.” Liu Yanfei said that no one could have imagined that it would only take more than two years. Counterattack of “coal to gas” in the ceramic capital

“The stability of natural gas supply and price is the biggest concern for companies switching from coal to gas.” Huang Guohua said. “We have calculated that if the price of natural gas can be controlled below 2.3 yuan per cubic meter, the cost will be roughly the same as before the coal-to-gas switch.”
