In the golden autumn of 2021, Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology will celebrate its 30th anniversary. Here, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks and high respect to leaders at all levels and friends from all walks of life who have long cared for, supported and helped the development of Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology! I extend cordial greetings and sincere blessings to all alumni!
30 years of dancing with the industry, with the same original intention. From taking root to flourishing, the growth of Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology and the development of China’s clothing industry have witnessed each other. The school has now developed into a large-scale institution featuring clothing education, facing the fashion industry, and cultivating senior specialized talents in creative design, engineering technology, marketing and business management. The professional undergraduate college with nearly 15,000 students has trained more than 80,000 professional talents for China’s garment industry.
30 Spring and Autumn Periods that are accompanied by characteristics and live up to the time. The school adheres to the “characteristic education” and has embarked on a characteristic education path with the “Jiangfu imprint”. Over the past 30 years, the school has taken root in the booming and increasingly powerful textile and garment industry, and has made remarkable achievements in professional construction. At present, the school has been approved as 2 national first-class professional construction sites, 2 national first-class courses, 34 provincial first-class courses, 1 provincial key discipline, and 2 provincial first-class majors. At the same time, he won 2 first prizes and 4 second prizes of the Jiangxi Provincial Undergraduate Teaching Achievement Award.
30 Spring and Autumn Periods that go hand in hand with fashion and resonate with each other. In prosperous times, there are gorgeous clothes, and in peaceful times, colorful clothes are danced. Over the years, the school has achieved fruitful development results and has been deeply recognized by the industry for its “Jiangfu Phenomenon”. Teachers and students have won gold and silver in various professional competitions at home and abroad. During the “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan” period, they received more than 600 awards from professional competitions. The school has successively won honorary titles such as “National Advanced Unit for Textile and Garment Education”, “China Textile and Garment Talent Construction Demonstration University”, “China Textile Talent Training Base”, and “National Textile Industry Skilled Talent Cultivation Unit with Outstanding Contribution”.
When the wind is blowing and the tide is flat, it is time to set sail and break the waves; the road ahead is long and heavy, and we must move swiftly and steadily. Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology, which was founded at the age of 30, is fully implementing the strategy of “strengthening connotation, raising the level, and entering the first-class”, and is moving forward bravely towards the goal of building a high-level application-oriented undergraduate university with distinctive characteristics. We will shoulder the responsibility and mission of cultivating clothing talents and promoting China to become a “world clothing power” with confidence in Chinese clothing culture and historical consciousness, and become a participant and practitioner in the great journey of achieving the “Two Centenary Goals”.
