The setting of the preliminary judges for this competition not only considers design innovation, but also invites experts from various fields such as institutions, materials, standards, bidding, and media to conduct comprehensive evaluations. Wu Xuekai, winner of the China Fashion “Golden Summit Award” and general manager and design director of Shanghai Biaoding Clothing Co., Ltd., Gao Yashuang, vice president of Henan Garment Industry Association, Zhang Guangmin, a professor-level senior engineer of China National Garment Association, director and professor of China National Garment Group Corporation Li Li, a senior engineer, Shen Lei, a doctoral supervisor and professor at Jiangnan University, Chang Lixia, a professor and dean of the School of Fashion at Henan University of Science and Technology, and Liu Xiaoqing, editor-in-chief of “Chinese Clothing”, serve as judges for this competition.

The first phase of the town project covers an area of 1,200 acres, with a total planned investment of 1.5 billion yuan and a total construction area of 500,000 square meters. Construction started in September 2019, and 9 standardized factories have been built with a construction area of approximately 65,000 square meters, providing basic conditions for enterprises to settle in. Yang Jinchun, executive vice president of the China National Garment Association, concluded that the promotion of China’s professional clothing towns requires the formation of a complete working mechanism from the top-level structure.
