Wuxi exports the first batch of carbon-neutral certified clothing in the country
On July 17, reporters learned from the “China’s first batch of carbon-neutral clothing export press conference” held in Wuxi that Hongdou shares joined hands to Tiansoft takes the lead in launching the country’s first batch of digitally certified carbon-neutral clothing that will be exported.
It is understood that the 30.64 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent carbon sink used for this batch of exported clothing comes from Hongdou Group’s own yew forest. Hongdou Group has been researching yew seed development and artificial cultivation since 1997. The current planting area has reached 30,000 acres. It is the first company-owned carbon sink forest in our province to achieve product carbon neutrality.
Qingtian Software uses information technology to collect the full life cycle carbon emission source data of this batch of products, calculates and depicts the product carbon footprint, and uses forestry carbon sink emission reductions to offset the product carbon emissions, thereby achieving product carbon neutrality. At the same time, the entire production process data of each product to be exported will be stored on the blockchain to ensure that the data cannot be tampered with and present a true carbon footprint. By cooperating with international third-party certification agencies, we ensure that the data has international credibility.
