From August 15th to 16th, agricultural meteorology observers from the Yuepuhu County Meteorological Bureau went into the fields and conducted field surveys of cotton in high-yield fields and cotton in low-yield fields at the observation points.
Through observation, the early weather and climate conditions are basically conducive to the growth and development of cotton. Cotton has gradually entered the boll cracking stage. Cotton growth is relatively stable and the growth is better than last year. This year’s cotton peach survey results: the average number of cotton peach at the observation point is 4.2/plant, 1.3/plant more than in previous years; the average number of peach in high-yield fields is 6.2/plant, 3.0/plant more than in previous years; low yield The average number of peaches in Tianfu is 2.6 per plant, which is 0.2 less per plant than in previous years.
Agronomic observers suggested strengthening water and fertilizer regulation in the middle and late stages of cotton fields as well as cotton pest and disease control, concentrating nutrients to protect peaches and increase boll weight, and produce more high-quality cotton bolls to ensure an increase in cotton production and a bumper harvest this year.
