Xu Liping said: “We used to sell more than 100,000 pieces of clothing every year in Beijing. Last year, we sold hundreds of thousands of pieces in Cangzhou alone. After the sales cost was reduced, we also made profits for customers. Small profits but quick turnover.”
“Cangzhou gave me the passion to start a business for the second time.” Liu Huoqiu, a former Beijing merchant, expressed the same emotion. In Cangzhou, the e-commerce industry atmosphere has initially taken shape. According to statistics, among the merchants of Cangzhou Pearl Trade City, there are more than 200 merchants carrying out live broadcast sales, with more than 10,000 potential merchants. With the support of Dongsu Group and Cangzhou Municipal Commerce Bureau, Kuaishou e-commerce’s relevant live broadcast base in Cangzhou has been established in Mingzhu Trade City. So far, the garment industry park has reached cooperation intentions with Kuaishou, Taobao, Douyin, Mogujie, Xiaohongshu, Pinduoduo and other platforms to help e-commerce companies develop rapidly from traffic support to skills training.
Since 2015, Cangzhou Mingzhu Trade City has begun to accept clothing wholesalers from Beijing. Currently, it has put into use approximately 1.42 million square meters, and has settled in more than 10,000 Beijing wholesale merchants. Mingzhu International Garment Ecological New City, which involves the field of production and processing, has signed contracts with nearly 3,000 companies and has nearly 500 corporate merchants.
