China’s original clothing design town was unveiled in Yaohai yesterday

Implement renewal and transformation to promote iterative upgrading of the clothing industry. The overall scope of the project is about 3 square kilometers at the intersection of Zhanqian Road and Shengli Road, creating a “core kinetic energy area + market cluster area” for the iterative upgrading of China’s garment industry: the core area of the project is located in an area of about 1.5 square kilometers on both sides of Zhanqian Road. Create “new economic driver of original design + new consumer cluster in the 100-billion business district + new cultural tourism portal for fashion experience”; the project launch area, with Wuzhou Mall as the main body, will create “old industrial base industrial transformation demonstration area, old city renewal demonstration area” , an integrated development demonstration area with high quality development of 100 billion yuan.
It is understood that Yaohai District, where the project is located, has established a leading group for the special construction and promotion of China’s original clothing design town to gather various professional forces to accelerate the early stage of the project and strive to start construction as soon as possible. A series of textile and garment industry talent signings and project cooperation signings were also held at the press conference, marking the simultaneous advancement of Yaohai District project construction and “double recruitment and double introduction”. The People’s Government of Yaohai District of Hefei City has signed strategic cooperation agreements for talent in the apparel industry with Zhejiang University of Science and Technology, Anhui Agricultural University, Anhui Engineering University, Hefei Normal University, Anhui Vocational and Technical College, and Anhui Fashion District and Jiangsu Province and Zhejiang Province Fashion Designers Association.
