Recently, with the approval of the National Standardization Administration Committee, 25 national agricultural standardization regional service and promotion platform projects for 2021 were determined. Among them, the “National Silkworm Standardization Regional Service and Promotion Platform” project organized by Jiangsu Haian Comprehensive Inspection and Testing Center was approved.
The platform is constructed by the Hai’an Comprehensive Inspection and Testing Center, with the participation of the Sericulture Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Hai’an Sericulture Technology Promotion Station. It is the first national agricultural standardization regional service and promotion platform for the sericulture industry in East China.
In recent years, Hai’an City has vigorously promoted the pace of modern sericulture, proposed a “standardization +” action plan for rural revitalization, focused on the construction of a standard system covering the entire production and processing process of sericulture, and led the formulation of 8 local standards in Jiangsu Province, forming a The “Hai’an Model” standardization demonstration of “standards + leading enterprises + farmers” has been promoted nationwide by the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. It has radiated more than 300,000 acres of mulberry gardens and 250,000 silkworm farmers with an annual income of 1.5 billion yuan. “Haian Silkworm Cocoon” was rated as a national geographical indication protected product.
The national sericulture standardization regional service and promotion platform will cover Jiangsu and radiate the Yangtze River Delta, focusing on mulberry tree cultivation and sericulture, providing agricultural standard system construction services, professional sericulture agricultural standard key indicator verification services, sericulture Agricultural standardization demonstration and promotion, mulberry tree cultivation and silkworm breeding agricultural standardization training and other services.
In the next step, Haian Comprehensive Inspection and Testing Center will actively promote the construction of the platform, gather advantageous resources, achieve “leading leadership, structural optimization, industrial upgrading, capacity improvement, and increase income of silkworm farmers”, further establish and improve the standard system, and promote the implementation and application of standards. , Promote the development of modern agriculture and provide solid technical support for the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy.
