During the “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan” period, the chemical fiber machinery industry has made great progress. In the first three quarters of 2021, polyester , nylon and other filament spinning machines shipped approximately 13,100 spinning positions, a year-on-year increase of 19.09%; high-speed texturing machines shipped approximately 1,860 units, a year-on-year increase of 121.42% . During the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, it will focus on key tasks such as green production equipment, intelligent manufacturing equipment, high-tech fiber equipment, common technical issues of textile machinery enterprises, manufacturing upgrades of textile machinery enterprises, and textile machinery standards.
In terms of exhibitions, in the 2020 Textile Machinery Joint Exhibition, 105 chemical fiber machinery companies participated. At present, many companies have actively participated in the registration process for the 2022 Textile Machinery Joint Exhibition. In addition, the 2023 International Textile Machinery Exhibition, Chemical Fiber Machinery Branch activities, scientific and technological achievement appraisal and standard formulation and revision work have also been put on the Chemical Fiber Machinery Branch’s work agenda in 2022.
Focus on the exhibition
Liu Ge, Director of the Fifth Industry Department of the China Textile Machinery Association, introduced an overview of the ITMA2023 exhibition with the theme of “Changing the Textile World”. ITMA2023 will be held in Milan, Italy, from June 8th to 14th, 2023. The China Textile Machinery Association is exclusively authorized to organize ITMA2023 mainland China enterprises to participate in the exhibition and related work. Registration will close on March 15, 2022.
ITMA2023 exhibits cover more than 20 categories such as spinning, winding, nonwovens, machine and device operations, etc. ITMA2019 has attracted 1,717 exhibitors from 45 countries and 105,298 visitors from 136 countries, with an exhibition area of 220,000 square meters. ITMA2023 will be more worth looking forward to.
Liu Ge pointed out that although domestic professional exhibitions will be held one after another from June 2021, and European and American countries will gradually relax restrictions in July, under long-distance travel restrictions, exhibitions in various continents have a tendency to localize. At the same time, the epidemic must also be acknowledged. Repeatedly, the holding of professional exhibitions still brings many uncertainties. You can pay attention to the development of the situation at any time. The Textile Machinery Association will also update the news in a timely manner and maintain communication.
Exchange and share
Zhu Junying, deputy general manager of Shenghong Group, shared the “Equipment Development Trend of the Polyester Industry under the Dual-Carbon Policy”. He said that this year is the first year of the “14th Five-Year Plan” and the first year of substantial implementation of the “double carbon” goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality. The implementation of the power restriction and emission reduction policy in 2021 has made textile people truly feel the huge impact of the implementation of the “double carbon” policy on themselves. The implementation of the “dual carbon” policy will bring about a new round of industryshuffle.
Zhu Junying produces recycled polyester fiber, atmospheric pressure dyeable polyester fiber and supporting dyeing materials. The industry has reached a record high, and the green development characteristics on the demand side are obvious, which is in line with the national environmental protection policy. He also suggested that members strengthen upstream and downstream cooperation and exchanges, improve the level of domestic equipment through collaborative innovation, and replace imports.
Wang Yong, director and general manager of Bezi Technology, said that Bezi Technology’s technology has served many areas of the industry. Currently, the logistics demand in the textile industry is very strong. Judging from the overall performance of the chemical fiber industry, industry concentration is getting higher and higher, which has also brought about some new changes in the industry. The inventory flow of the industry can be seen from the customers served by the company. Currently, Beijing Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. is actively implementing the “double carbon” goal promoted by the country, making digital improvements to equipment and reducing energy consumption. In the future, we hope to continue to expand cooperation and exchanges with branch companies and develop together with everyone.
Li Yilong, assistant general manager of Fujian Baihong, said that the market has its own laws of survival of the fittest. When there is excess production capacity, some disadvantaged companies will be eliminated when they are on the edge of profit. From the perspective of equipment users, the progress of domestic equipment such as Wuxi Hongyuan and Beijing Zhongli is very obvious. For equipment companies, they must carefully accept the opinions of customers and make significant progress through continuous polishing.
In addition, Beijing Zhongli shared its related work and achievements in the company’s differentiated spinning equipment and processes, green and clean production, and intelligent manufacturing. Oerlikon representatives gave a brief introduction to the company’s research and development in energy-saving products, recycling processes, etc. Handan Hongda conducted exchanges on the marketing situation of the company’s automatic baler business. With the increase in labor costs, the company’s demand for automation equipment has increased significantly. Regarding the future development environment, many participants said that uncertainty will continue to increase and the epidemic will still have a lasting impact. Regarding how to plan for the future, during the exchange, many companies said that they should focus on the main textile machinery business, increase product innovation and technology research and development, pay attention to changes in the demand side, better leverage the advantages of the industrial chain, and seek better development through collaboration.
