The 2021 Sichuan Province Silkworm Breed Quality and Safety Work Training Conference was held in Chengdu
From December 22nd to 23rd, the Sichuan Provincial Sericulture Management Station held the 2021 Province-wide Silkworm Breeding Quality Safety Work Training Seminar in Chengdu. Wang Yanhong, director of the Sichuan Provincial Sericulture Management Station, attended the training and delivered a speech. A total of more than 60 people attended the training, including representatives from municipal and state sericulture (operation) stations (bureaus), quality inspection stations, silkworm seed cold storages, and some silkworm breeding farms.
Wang Yanhong fully affirmed the achievements made in the quality and safety of silkworm seeds in recent years, and emphasized the need to persist in improving system construction, insisting on improving capability levels, insisting on strict implementation of regulations, and effectively controlling the quality of silkworm seeds.
The meeting reported on the construction of silkworm seed quality supervision system and quality inspection cold storage work in 2021. Representatives from the grassroots front line and management departments focused on standardizing silkworm seed inspection and testing, the application of loose egg cloth in production and processing, and the 2021 spring silkworms. Experience exchanges and case interpretations were carried out on topics such as analysis of uneven hatching accidents, and researcher Qing Xuegang of the Provincial Sericulture Research Institute was invited to conduct special training on the molecular biology detection of silkworm diseases in 2021. At the meeting, arrangements were made for the quality and safety of silkworm seeds in 2022.
Participants said that this training was compact in time, rich in content, closely combined with current work practices and frontline needs at the grassroots level, and had strong targeted guidance.
