The 7th National Knitting Innovation Technology Seminar was held in Pingnan, Guangxi
On December 22, the 7th National Knitting Innovation Technology Seminar with the theme of “Digital Intelligence Leads Sustainable Development” was held in Pingnan County, Guigang City, Guangxi Province. The conference invites senior experts, professors from colleges and universities, and representatives of demonstration enterprises to discuss the intelligent, efficient and sustainable development of the national knitting industry, the innovative application of knitting technology and product development, and theintelligentization Topics such as implementation paths and latest achievements will lead the linkage between the upstream and downstream industries and promote the highquality development of the national knitting industry.
At the meeting, Qu Jing, vice president and secretary-general of the China Knitting Industry Association, made an important report on the operating situation and development direction of the knitting industry entitled “Integrating into the dual cycle and opening up the development space of the knitting industry”. Meng Jiaguang, professor of Xi’an Polytechnic University Experts and other experts made special reports on industry hot topics such as “intelligent product innovation” and the research progress of the industry’s cutting-edge technology “knitted fabric modeling and simulation”.
Different from previous conferences, this conference innovatively opened the “Famous Enterprises and Famous Teachers Forum” session, and invited 4 expert managers and chief engineers from well-known manufacturers in the national knitting industry with technological innovation capabilities to discuss the theme. Give live presentations to share their valuable experiences. This conference also included nearly 60 original papers written by more than 100 industry scholars and technical personnel, and 18 outstanding papers were selected for commendation.
On the basis of the release of the “2021 Recommended Catalog of Knitting Innovation Technology and Equipment Demonstration Enterprises”, the meeting issued certificates to the knitting innovation technology and equipment demonstration enterprises selected as “Cooperating Units of Pingnan County Textile and Garment Industry Development Center”. The enterprises settled in the Pingnan County Textile and Garment Industry Development Center also have face-to-face exchanges with knitting innovative technology and equipment demonstration enterprises to achieve effective docking and win-win development between the upstream and downstream industries.
About 150 technical backbones and guests from major knitting companies across the country attended the meeting. After the meeting, the guests and business representatives also went to China (Guigang) Textile and Apparel Fashion New District for inspection.
