The impact of improper pre-treatment on polyester-cotton blended fabrics

Polyester-cotton blended fabric pre-treatment functional fabric
Polyester-cotton blended fabricThe quality of pre-treatment will have a great impact on the dyeing quality of the fabric.
Such as the quality of desizing, the wool effect, whiteness, and mercerizing effect of the fabric after scouring, the degree of shaping, the alkali content of the cloth, etc. If any of the indicators cannot be uniform and meet the process requirements, it will be reflected during dyeing.
As far as the scouring wool efficiency is concerned, if the alkali concentration, steaming temperature, and flame time are not properly controlled, the wool efficiency will vary. When dyeing, products with high wool efficiency will absorb a large amount of liquid and produce dark colors; products with low wool efficiency will absorb a small amount of liquid and produce light colors, which will result in different shades after dyeing, resulting in color difference between the front and back.
Another example is whiteness. Due to changes in padding concentration, padding rate, steaming temperature, stacking time and other factors, the whiteness of the fabric will vary. Differences in whiteness will inevitably be reflected in the color light after dyeing, and serious color differences will occur.
Therefore, the process operation of each machine seedling must be strictly pre-treated to ensure that the physical and chemical indicators of the semi-finished products are uniform.
