Fabric Dyeing Fabric Textile Color Difference
The fiber composition of various types of fabrics is different, and the types of dyes and process equipment used in dyeing are different. In addition, there are different conditions in the dyeing process. The requirements and characteristics, the causes and manifestations of defects are different. Color differences vary in appearance, but the main reasons are as follows:
(1) The dye is unevenly distributed on the fabric in advance: If the dye is unevenly distributed in various parts of the fabric before it is fixed, color difference will inevitably occur after the dye is fixed.
The main reasons for this phenomenon are:
① Fabric factors: due to Different fiber properties or pre-processing, boiling, bleaching, or insufficient uniformity of silk make the permeability of the semi-finished products before dyeing uneven, resulting in differences in the degree of dye absorption;
②Liquid absorption factors; Due to mechanical structure reasons or improper operation, the liquid carrying rate of various parts of the fabric is inconsistent, thus causing color difference;
③ Pre-drying factors: When pre-drying after padding the dye solution, due to the inconsistent drying rate and degree, the dye will migrate to varying degrees, causing the dye to be unevenly distributed on the fabric.
(2) The degree of dye fixation on the fabric is different: Although the dye is uniformly distributed on the fabric in advance, if the conditions are not properly controlled during the fixation process, The dye in some parts of the fabric is not fully fixed and will be removed during post-processing soaping, resulting in color difference.
(3) Variation of dye color and light: This difference is caused by certain reasons that cause the color and light of some dyes on the fabric to change. Generally, there are the following three types Reasons:
① Factors before dyeing: uneven whiteness of semi-finished products or large differences in pH value, which can easily cause color and light differences after dyeing;

② Dyeing factors: For example, the hot melt temperature of disperse dyes is too high, which makes the color light of some dyes become dull; excessive reduction of vat dyes can also make the color light There are differences;
③Post-dyeing factors: During the post-finishing process, such as resin finishing, high-temperature tentering, and differences in PH value on the fabric, etc., they will all cause The color and light of dyes change to varying degrees;
④Soaping: If soaping is insufficient, the hair color will be insufficient and the color and light will be inaccurate.
