How to care for natural fiber clothes

Cotton fabric wash natural fibers
1. Cotton fabric
Cotton fabric has strong alkali resistance, not acid resistance, and good high temperature resistance, and can be washed with various soaps or detergents. Before washing, you can soak it in water for a few minutes, but it should not be too long to avoid color damage. Underwear should not be soaked in hot water to avoid the protein in sweat stains coagulating and adhering to the clothes, resulting in yellow spots. When using detergent, the optimal water temperature is 40~50℃. When rinsing, you can master the “small amount and many times” method, that is, you don’t necessarily need to use a lot of water for each rinse, but you need to wash it several times. After each rinse, it should be wrung out and rinsed a second time to improve washing efficiency. Clothes should be dried in a ventilated and cool place to avoid exposure to strong sunlight, which may cause colored fabrics to fade.
2. Hemp fiber fabric
Hemp fiber Rigid, poor holding power. When washing, use lighter force than cotton fabrics. Do not use hard-bristled brushes to scrub or rub hard to prevent the fabric from fluffing. Do not twist hard after washing, do not soak colored fabrics in hot water, and do not expose them to strong sunlight to avoid fading.
3. Silk fabrics
Before washing, Soak the clothes in water for about 10 minutes. The soaking time should not be too long. Avoid washing with alkaline water. You can use neutral soap, washing powder or neutral detergent. It is better to use lukewarm or room temperature bath liquid. After washing, gently squeeze out the water and avoid twisting. It should be dried in a cool and ventilated place. It should not be exposed to strong sunlight, and it should not be dried in the oven.
4. Wool fabrics
Wool is not resistant Alkali, so use neutral detergent for washing. Wool fabrics will shrink and deform in aqueous solutions above 30°C, so the washing water temperature should not exceed 40°C. Washing solutions are usually prepared with room temperature water (25°C). Do not use a washboard when washing. Even if you use a washing machine to wash, you should wash it lightly and the washing time should not be too long to prevent shrinkage. After washing, do not wring it, squeeze it with your hands to remove the water, and then drain it. When using a washing machine to dehydrate, half a minute is appropriate. It should be dried in a cool and ventilated place, and should not be exposed to strong sunlight to prevent the fabric from losing its luster and elasticity and causing a decrease in the strength of the fabric.
