The traditional intumescent flame retardant system is composed of acid source, carbon source and gas source. The acid source first releases inorganic acids with dehydrating effects such as phosphoric acid and pyrophosphoric acid, which undergo an esterification reaction with the polyol. The entire system melts during this process; the gas source generates non-combustible gas and water vapor, causing the melted system to foam and expand. ; The carbon source is further dehydrated and carbonized under the action of the dehydrating agent to generate organic matter and coke residues, causing the entire system to melt and expand to form a foamed carbon layer.



Polyester flame-retardant fabric has high fiber strength, excellent heat resistance and chemical stability. It is widely used in home textiles and various interior fabrics, but it is easy to melt and has Greater fire hazard. Therefore, it is very important to study the flame retardant technology of polyester textiles and develop flame retardant polyester textiles.



This test uses a phosphorus-containing flame retardant and a nitrogen-containing flame retardant that can produce non-combustible gas to form an expansion system. Through appropriate post-processing technology, a product with good flame retardancy can be obtained.
