Shrinkage of denim fabric
Tag:

Denim generally shrinks after washing, so the shrinkage rate should be added to the required size before washing. The specific shrinkage rate can be as follows: Cut half a yard of fabric, use a black pen or ballpoint pen (so that the legs will not be discolored after washing), draw a horizontal water is a washing water standard). After the washing water comes out, you can then measure the size of the box to get the shrinkage rate. For example: after washing, horizontal X straight = 47cm )/50=4%. Then just add the shrinkage to the size. For example: if the waist is to be cut horizontally and the size is required to be 32″, then the size of the pattern should be 32″/(1-6%)=34″ (because of the wash water at the waist) The front size is 34″, and the size after washing is 34″X94%=32″, which just meets the requirements). The pattern master will add these.
