Shandong issued a textile revitalization plan with an industrial added value of 220 billion in 2011
The Shandong Provincial Government recently announced the adjustment and revitalization plan for the textile industry. According to the “Shandong Province Textile Industry Adjustment and Revitalization Plan (2019-2011)”, by 2011, Shandong Province’s textile and garment enterprises above designated size will achieve an industrial added value of 220 billion yuan, with an average annual growth of 13%; cultivate a company with annual sales revenue of more than 100 billion yuan, 4 key enterprises with annual sales revenue exceeding 10 billion yuan, 15 key enterprises with annual sales revenue exceeding 5 billion yuan, and 28 industrial clusters and industrial bases at or above the provincial level.
Shandong Province will accelerate technological transformation and industrial upgrading of the garment industry. Support key enterprises such as Bridegroom and Shulang to accelerate their development. Strengthen men’s clothing brands, strengthen knitted clothing, make high-end yarn-dyed shirts, expand denim clothing, and cultivate women’s clothing and fashion. Accelerate the development of eight categories of products: suits, high-end yarn-dyed shirts, series of denim clothing, men’s and women’s fashion, professional wear and high-end knitted underwear, casual sportswear, and knitted fashion, and drive the supporting development of fabrics, brands, services and other industries.
