Performance Requirements Judgment Requirements
① For samples with no clumps on the surface: first test to determine the burning speed of the sample with the longitudinal and weft directions as the long direction, and use the faster speed as the long direction of the test sample
② For specimens without hair clumps on the surface: take the direction of the hair clumps as the long direction of the specimen. Butane gas 1s 1. Textiles with smooth surfaces:
1) When the flame spread time of the sample is not less than 3.5 seconds, it has good fire resistance;
2) When the flame spread time of the sample is less than 3.5 seconds, the textile is flammable and not suitable for clothing. 2. Textiles with fiber tufts on the surface:
1) When the flame spread time of the sample is greater than 7 seconds, or the surface burns for 0 to 7 seconds, it indicates that the fire is not enough to ignite, carbonize, and melt the sample, that is, the sample has Good fire resistance and normal combustion performance;
2) When the flame spread time of the sample is 4 to 7 seconds, including 4 seconds and 7 seconds, and the back side is ignited, carbonized, and melted, the sample is considered to be between Combustion performance between (1) and (3);
When the flame spread time of the sample is less than 7 seconds, and the intensity of the flame is enough to ignite, carbonize, and melt the back of the sample, it is considered to have rapid and violent combustion.
