Classification and inspection of clothing accessories
There are all kinds of clothing accessories, here I divide them into 7 categories:
1. Lining, 2. Gudding, 3. Filling, 4. String materials, 5. Fastening materials, 6. Decorative materials, 7 others.
Here is a classification description.
1. Clothing lining Lining is the material used in clothing clips, mainly including polyester taffeta, nylon silk, flannel, various types of cotton and polyester-cotton cloth, etc. Commonly used thick lining materials include 170T, 190T, 21OT, 230T polyester taffeta, nylon taffeta and rayon; flannel includes single-sided velvet, double-sided velvet, warp knitted velvet, etc., generally measured by gram weight. Common velvet materials have a weight of 120-260G/m2. We classify all types of pocket fabrics into lining materials. Commonly used pocket fabrics are T/C45×45/65×35/96×72, and 133×72, etc. Variety.
The main test indicators of linings are shrinkage and color fastness. For clothing products containing velvet filling materials, the linings should be made of fine or coated fabrics to prevent velvet loss.
The main functions of clothing linings are:
① Make the clothing slippery, easy to put on and take off, and comfortable to wear;
② Reduce the friction between the fabric and underwear and protect the fabric; ③ Increase the durability of the clothing Thickness plays a role in keeping warm; ④ Makes clothing smooth and crisp; ⑤ Improves the quality of clothing; ⑥ For flocculation clothing, as a lining for flocculation, it can prevent flocculation from being exposed; as a lining for leather clothing, it can make The fur is not stained and keeps the fur clean and tidy.
When choosing clothing linings, you should pay attention to the following aspects:
① The performance of the lining should be compatible with the performance of the fabric. The performance here refers to shrinkage, heat resistance, washing resistance, strength and thickness. Weight, etc.;
② The color of the lining should be coordinated with the fabric, and the color of the lining should generally not be darker than the fabric;
③ The lining should be smooth, durable, anti-pilling, and have good color fastness Spend.
2. Clothing lining
Interlining includes two types: lining and padding. The lining affixed to clothing collars, cuffs, pockets, skirt waists, hems and suit chests is called lining cloth. It generally contains rubber particles and is often called fusible lining. , there are two categories: woven interlinings (woven and knitted) and non-woven interlinings. The shoulder pads used on the shoulders to reflect the shape of the shoulders and the chest lining used on the chest to add a crisp and full style to the clothing are both padding materials and generally do not have glue. The lining is the skeleton of the garment, which can enhance the strength of the garment and make the garment full and beautiful; in addition, the use of lining cloth can also enhance the sewing performance of the garment and make it easier to operate.
Fusible lining is a very important clothing accessory. It is evenly sprinkled with adhesive particles (or powder) on woven, knitted or non-woven base fabrics, and is heated (hot melt bonding) Finally, it is combined with the corresponding parts of the clothing to achieve a certain styling effect.
The adhesive lining mainly tests two indicators: shrinkage rate and adhesive fastness (peel strength). When selecting and using clothing linings, you should pay attention to:
1. The performance of the lining matches the performance of the clothing fabric. The performance here mainly refers to the color, unit weight and thickness, drape, etc. of the lining. For example, flannel fabrics use thick linings, silk fabrics use soft silk linings, knitted fabrics use elastic knitted (warp knitted) linings, etc.
2. Considering the requirements of clothing shape and clothing design, stiff lining is generally used for the collar and waist, while thicker lining is used for the chest lining of outerwear.
3. Consider the purpose of the clothing. If some clothing needs to be washed, you should choose a washable lining, and consider the dimensional stability of the lining during washing and ironing.
Padding materials such as shoulder pads must consider their shape retention to ensure that they do not deform within a certain period of use.
3. Clothing stuffing
Filling can also be called filling material, which refers to the material that plays a filling role between the clothing fabric and the lining. It is mainly used to enhance the thermal insulation performance of the clothing. Some are also used as linings to increase the three-dimensional effect of embroidery or silk flowers. It can be divided into Types of floc fillers and thread fillers. Generally speaking, we say that floc fillers refer to flake-like materials such as loose fibers and down that have not been woven. They do not have a certain shape. They must be sandwiched when used, and the lining is required to have certain anti-penetration properties, such as high density or coated down-proof fabric. Thread filler refers to a material made of fibers made into flakes through a specific textile process (such as needle punching, etc.). It has a fixed shape and can be cut and used as needed.
