Formaldehyde content test: Under normal circumstances, the formaldehyde content of conventional finishing is less than 20PPM, so the physical test is generally not tested. Only those finished with resin will be tested for formaldehyde content. It is divided into two tests: AA57865ERT34GSDTCC112 and JIS L1041. The JISL1041 test is more commonly used internationally. Free Formaldehyde: FREE FOR MALDEHYDE CONTENT is made by soaking the fabric in water. After the specified temperature, time, and static treatment, the formaldehyde is hydrolyzed and dissolved in the water. Formaldehyde release: The release method is used to determine whether formaldehyde is released in the air and then dissolved in water after the fabric is exposed to specified temperature, time, and static treatment. Generally, the formaldehyde released is higher than free formaldehyde. PH value test: Under normal circumstances, the fabric is dissolved in water to measure the PH value of the water. Therefore, sometimes due to unclear alkali removal in the front process of mercerization, it is always difficult to adjust the process by adding acid in the back process. Adding too much acid will lead to a decrease in the degree of acid-base neutralization.
