1. Dyeing products have different shades of color and different shades. (1) Color difference of flame retardant fabrics in the same batch: products in the same batch. There are color differences in flame-retardant fabrics between product boxes of the same color number, between pieces, between packages, and between pieces. (2) Color difference of flame-retardant fabrics of the same piece: Products of the same piece have color differences of flame-retardant fabrics on the left, middle and right sides, or color differences of flame-retardant fabrics on the front and back, or color differences of flame-retardant fabrics on the front and back. The color difference of flame-retardant fabrics is one of the common defects and multiple defects in dyeing and finishing factories, which seriously affects the quality of dyed finished products. 2. Causes: The fiber composition of various fabrics is different, the types of dyes and process equipment used in dyeing are different, and the dyeing processing has different requirements and characteristics, so the causes of defects and their manifestations are different. The color difference of flame retardant fabrics has various appearances, but the main reasons are as follows. (1) The dye is unevenly distributed on the fabric in advance: If the dye is unevenly distributed in various parts of the fabric before it is fixed, color difference in the flame-retardant fabric will inevitably occur after the dye is fixed. The main reasons for this phenomenon are: 1. Fabric factors: Due to different fiber properties or insufficient uniformity of pre-treatment, boiling, bleaching, and silk, the permeability of the semi-finished product before dyeing is uneven, resulting in differences in the degree of dye absorption. difference. 2. Liquid absorption factors: Due to mechanical structural reasons or improper operation, the liquid absorption rates of various parts of the fabric are inconsistent, thus causing color differences in flame-retardant fabrics. Uneven roller pressure, uneven addition of dyeing materials, etc. will cause the fabric to absorb dye unevenly. 3. Pre-drying factors: During the post-drying of the pad dye solution, the drying rate and degree are inconsistent, causing the dye to migrate to varying degrees, resulting in uneven distribution of the dye on the fabric. (2) The degree of fixation of dyes on fabrics is different: Although the initial distribution of dyes on fabrics is uniform, during the fixation process. If the conditions are not properly controlled (such as temperature, time, dye concentration, etc.), the dye in some parts of the fabric is not fully fixed and will be removed during post-processing and soaping. This results in color difference in flame retardant fabrics. For example, inconsistencies in the hot melt temperature of disperse dyes on both sides or front and back, insufficient partial reduction or oxidation of vat dyes, poor steaming conditions of reactive dyes, etc. will cause color differences in flame-retardant fabrics on the front, back or left and right of the fabric. (3) Variation in the color light of the dye: This difference is not caused by the uneven distribution of the dye on the fabric. Rather, the color of some dyes on the fabric changes due to some reasons. Generally, there are the following reasons:
1. Factors before dyeing: uneven whiteness of semi-finished products or large pH value Differences often result in differences in color and light after dyeing.
2. Dyeing factors: For example, the hot melt temperature of dispersed dyes is too high, which makes the color light of some dyes fade; excessive reduction of vat dyes can also cause differences in color light.
3. Factors after dyeing: during the finishing process. Such as resin finishing, high-temperature tentering, and differences in PH value on the fabric, etc., will cause the color light of the dye to change to varying degrees.
