The difference between PVC coating and PE coating
The difference between PVC coating and PE coating:
PVC coating: Features: Can be applied thickly, relatively cheap, commonly used with calendering process, used for raincoats, bags, etc. PVC feels rough, and there is also calendered PVC, which is a little harder.
PE coating: Polyethylene (PE) is non-toxic, low cost and saves usage.
PE feels softer; PVC feels harder. Common coating classifications:
1. PA (polyacrylate)
2. PU (polyurethane)
3. PVC (polyvinyl chloride)
4. PE (polyethylene) additionally , as well as polypropylene (PP), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), polyamide, polyester, silicone, synthetic rubber, and protein.
