Notice from the Ministry of Commerce on issuing export quotas for silk commodities in 2019
Relevant commerce departments of provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, and cities under separate state planning, China Silk Industry Corporation, and China Silk Import and Export Corporation:
According to the total export quotas in 2019 and the statistics of each province, Applications submitted by autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, cities under separate state planning and enterprises managed by the central government are now issued export quotas for silk products in 2019.
1. The silk commodities subject to export quota license management in 2019 are commodities with the first four customs codes of 5001-5003.
2. The export quotas for silk products in 2019 will be allocated based on the application quotas of each province, autonomous region, municipality directly under the Central Government, cities under separate state planning and centrally managed enterprises and the usage of quotas for related products in 2007.
3. Request local competent authorities to allocate quotas to relevant export enterprises as soon as possible, and submit the quota secondary allocation plan to our Ministry (Foreign Trade Department) for review and filing before January 31, 2019, with a copy to China International e-commerce center.
