07 Textile Expo Exchange: Textile Technology and Innovative Fabrics
From October 23rd to 24th, the “2007 Textile Expo International Textile Technology Exchange Series” attracted the attention of many Shaoxing textile companies. It is reported that this exchange activity is one of the key projects of the ongoing 2007 Shaoxing “Textile Expo”.
The soul of the textile fabric industry is innovative fabrics and innovative patterns. At present, there is still a gap between my country and the international level in this regard, which to a large extent restricts the development of the textile industry. As a major textile county in the country, Shaoxing has focused its development on fabric development and innovation over the years on the basis of technological transformation and the introduction of first-class equipment. The Zhejiang Modern Textile Industry Research Institute, which emerged as a result of this strategic adjustment, is an industrial innovation platform jointly built by Shaoxing County Textile Science and Technology Center and Zhejiang University. It plays an active role in promoting the technological progress of the textile industry in Shaoxing and even Zhejiang Province. .
With the strong support of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology and the Shaoxing County Government, the Zhejiang Provincial Modern Textile Industry Research Institute and the China-Europe Technology and Talent Transfer Center jointly organized a series of international textile technology exchange activities to communicate with domestic and foreign textile industry peers. Let’s discuss innovative fabrics and innovative patterns together, and conduct discussions around textile technology, spinning and weaving technology, etc. The event is divided into three related topics: innovative fabrics and innovative pattern design, spinning technology and weaving technology. The focus of “original fabrics and innovative pattern design” is how domestic companies can learn from advanced countries and regions to enter the application and development of functional fabrics.
To this end, the seminar analyzed the popular ecology in recent years and displayed new fabric products in the corresponding seasons. Experts focused on explaining the new development of textile technology and innovative fabrics, introducing the design characteristics and fashion trends of Korean fabrics, Italian fabric design and pattern styles, the application of new textile materials memory fabrics, and European fashion fabric innovation and fashion trends. The special exhibition area set up at the exhibition site concentrated on displaying innovative products from South Korea, Italy, Germany and other countries. Through such activities, companies can efficiently obtain valuable fabric design trend information and better understand international popular fabric design methods, thereby improving innovation capabilities. Luo Weihong, deputy director of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology, said that the holding of this event will introduce advanced textile technologies and concepts, which is of great significance to transforming and upgrading the textile industry in Zhejiang Province and promoting the innovation-driven development of textile enterprises.
